1. The service

CarCost helps you estimate and track the cost of owning a car: TCO simulation, car comparison, expense logging, reminders and reports. Some features are part of the paid Premium plan sold through the app stores.

2. Reference figures — disclaimer

All results are estimates based on default assumptions or numbers you enter; they are not financial, legal or tax advice. Car prices, energy prices, fees and perks may change. CarCost is not affiliated with, does not represent and takes no money to rank any carmaker, dealer or charging network.

3. Accounts

You can use CarCost without an account. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in secure, and you can delete it at any time in the app.

4. Premium

Premium is purchased and renewed through the App Store or Google Play under the store’s terms. Deleting your CarCost account does not cancel the renewal — cancel it in the store settings.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not submit fake data or deliberately distort community data.
• Do not access the systems without authorisation, scan or overload them.
• Do not bulk-copy CarCost content or data for commercial purposes without permission.

6. Ownership

The data you enter belongs to you and can be exported to CSV at any time. The software, design and default database belong to CarCost.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will notify you in the app. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Contact: support@carcost.example.
